CRIME, who also works as msp4rrow and as Dr Fries, describes this practice as that of an ‘artist and developer’.1 The X profile @DrFriesOfficial identifies CRIME as a co-founder of HappyCorp, notes ongoing work on a project called Sarangi Synth, and lists earlier involvement with the game Neon District among other ventures. On Tezos, the artist’s objkt profile records works minted on hic et nunc from June 2021, the M0NVM3N7 series of 2023, several pieces of which are titled after Sarangi Synth, and a ‘Dr Fries Commissioned Works’ collection begun in December 2024.2

In a June 2026 X post, CRIME recalled having ‘made it to Future Art lineup with you, xcopy, fewo and the lot by designing silly spinning donuts’, before pivoting towards work that expressed ‘my real thoughts’.3
