33, also published as 33NFT, is a pseudonymous digital-art collector and curator.1 In 2021, 33 collaborated with the Dissrup marketplace and artist Zhemin Wang on “Curious Creatures,” a nine-piece digital-collectibles project that included a work for members of 33’s community.1 Discussing the collaboration, 33 characterised the NFT scene as community-focused and said its participants should look out for one another; 33 also connected the project’s toy-like designs to older collecting traditions translated for a digital generation.1 In a separate interview about open editions, 33 argued that issuance decisions should be evaluated case by case and generally favoured clearly limited editions unless an artist had an established reason for broader access.2
33 has written about XCOPY directly. On 7 April 2024 the account described XCOPY as having ‘a bold, and unmistakable style throughout his whole production, using the immediacy of glitch to critique contemporary issues and attitudes’, adding that the artist ‘explores death, dystopia and apathy through distorted visual loops.’3 Asked in March 2026 to name a grail, 33 replied that it was ‘Too hard to just pick one - but Right Click Save As Guy Xcopy would be up there’.4
