Moxarra González is a Mexico City–based artist, designer, and illustrator from San Luis Potosí who studied visual arts at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.12 He told SuperRare that newspaper work producing illustrations and infographics introduced him to digital art, while punk, skate, 1980s pop culture, current events, and internet culture became recurring reference points in his work.2 He joined the collaborative drawing platform DADA after encountering it in 2015 and subsequently participated in its Creeps & Weirdos series.12 The Edicurial Collection characterises his practice as part of crypto art’s formative 2017 period, while his own interviews describe work spanning oil, acrylic, drawing, mixed physical-digital techniques, vivid CMYK-influenced palettes, memes, and collaborative exquisite-corpse drawing.13

The Museum of Crypto Art recorded *NonNFT #209*, contributed by reneil1337 to its community collection, as a “Moxarra x neurocolor x XCOPY collab”, describing it as “Commemorative artwork for the NonNFT Summit genesis, Mexico City Nov 7 2022.”4
