Matthew, publicly known as niftytime, has been described as a writer, collector, NFT producer, and podcaster.1 He and creator Rizzle founded the weekly virtual-world social The WIP Meetup in January 2020; the group’s own publication describes it as a recurring metaverse meetup organized by niftytime, Rizzle, and Meme.12 Matthew and Rizzle also hosted “The Matthew and Rizzle Show,” a long-running program about experimental projects, artists, and creators in crypto and digital culture; Apple’s catalogue records the show as active from 2019 through 2025.3 A 2024 account of WIPsgiving presented the meetup as participatory programming in which artists and attendees collaboratively produced a virtual Thanksgiving parade.1
In October 2025 niftytime shared XCOPY’s The State of Us (Blue) on X, writing: “On down days, but even good days too, this really is the state of us”.4
